TELEFILM - Eight Films Directed by Canadians at this Year's SXSW Festival

Montreal, February 15, 2015—Telefilm Canada is delighted with the strong Canadian presence at South by Southwest (SXSW) 2016, to be held in Austin, Texas from March 11 to 20. All of the selected Canadian filmmakers, including four with films in competition, are emerging talent, i.e., directorial experience with short films only or with two or less feature films. As well, three of the Canadians (Stella Meghie, Ben Petrie and Zachary Russell) have been selected for a first feature or a first short.
